BREATH-BODY-MIND WORKSHOP ONLINE BY DR. RICHARD P. BROWN AND DR. PATRICIA GERBARG

HOSTED BY Fellowships of the Spirit

14th April 10am-5pm & 15th April 10am-4pm 2012

Based on their extensive research, Drs. Brown and Gerbarg combine the most rapidly effective breathing techniques to relieve stress and improve mood, mental focus, heart and lung function, and endurance. The benefits have been enjoyed by physicians, health care practitioners, Buddhist monks and nuns, yoga teachers, military veterans, first responders, individuals with psychiatric (eg. anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADD) and medical conditions, and victims of abuse, terrorism, war and natural disasters, including the Asian tsunami, Sept 11, 2001 WTC attacks, Haiti earthquake, Rwanda genocide, South Sudan war and slavery, and Gulf oil spill. Many people who complete this workshop say that they have been transformed, and that they never would have imagined something so simple to be so powerful and helpful. In this workshop you will learn how to:

Balance your stress response system for stress resilience and energy renewal
Release tension, dispel anxiety, sleep soundly, and quiet your mind
Increase your lung capacity, oxygenation, and cardio-respiratory health
Improve recovery from negative life experiences or trauma
Feel more connected to your inner self and to others
Improve your relationships and empathic abilities

Drs. Brown & Gerbarg will discuss the neurophysiology of the effects of breathing on the nervous system, review their research, and present cases.

The Online Webinar will be live. Registrants will be able to ask questions, participate from their work or office computer, and continue to access the program for 5 days after completion. Taking this workshop with a partner, friend, colleague, or group will enrich the experience.
